Last week, Elon Musk announced plans for the "Terafab" — an advanced chip fabrication plant in Austin, Texas.
The goal: produce one terawatt of computing power annually. The entire world currently produces 20 gigawatts. That's a 50x increase over current global output.
Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI are all partnered on the project. Musk said the facility would produce inference chips for humanoid robots — projected at 1 to 10 billion units annually — and satellite computing chips for SpaceX's orbital network.
He said he plans to purchase new capacity from Nvidia, Samsung, and Micron.
That last detail is the one most people overlooked.
The Pattern
Every time Elon Musk builds something, the small companies that supply his empire see their stock prices soar.
When he built the Gigafactory, a small lithium supplier shot up 330%. Bloomberg covered it.
When SpaceX partnered with a British manufacturer called Filtronic, the stock soared 1,322%. A Wisconsin cooling company that supplies Tesla's battery chillers is up 2,100%.
It's called "The Elon Effect." And the Terafab could be the biggest trigger yet.
Who Saw This Coming
One former tech executive has been tracking this pattern for years.
His name is Jeff Brown. He spent 25 years at Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductors, and Juniper Networks. He recommended Nvidia in 2016 — before it ran over 2,000%. He recommended Micron before 791%. Arista Networks before 854%.
Both Nvidia and Micron were just named as Terafab suppliers.
Why the Terafab Changes Things
The Gigafactory was a battery plant. Suppliers gained 330%.
The Terafab is a chip factory — and chips touch everything: AI, robotics, satellites, autonomous vehicles. The supplier network is bigger, and the companies are smaller.
Brown has identified the specific suppliers he believes will benefit most. He's published his research in a free presentation — including the names, ticker symbols, and exactly when he recommends buying.
Musk told reporters he plans to "push the limits of physics in compute." Brown says the limits of the Elon Effect are about to be pushed too.
